Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa is a practicing Entrepreneur with over 20 years of business leadership experience. He is a Co-Founder and Group CEO of the Africa Coffee Academy, Rowan Holdings Ltd., and Black Gold Ltd. He is a Consultant with the World Bank and the United Nations International Trade Center in Commodity Risk Management – especially in Coffee and Cotton.

He serves on several Boards; he is the Chairman of Greenhill Holdings Limited-owners of Greenhill Academy Schools; Chairman Habitat for Humanity Uganda, Trustee of Kings College Buddo; Board Member Makerere University Rotary Peace Center, Board Member Busoga College Mwiri Board of Governors,  Chairman of World Class Team Limited; Co-Founder and Director Health Heart Foundation among others.

Robert is a Rotarian, and he served as the District Governor for Rotary District 9211 [covering Uganda and Tanzania] in 2015/16. He is also an Adjunct Faculty Staff of Strathmore University Business School in Kenya and the Second Deputy Premier [Katikkiro] and Minister for Finance, Investments, Planning and Economic Development in the Buganda Kingdom, Uganda.

Robert is a Rotary Foundation Peace Major Giving Initiative Advisor for Africa Rotary Zone 22.

Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa is a graduate of Statistics [1992] and holds a Master’s of Economics in Economic Policy and Planning [2001] from Makerere University. He is a Fellow Emeritus of the Center for the Study of African Economies [2003], Oxford University, United Kingdom. He was born on 15th January 1969; he is married, a father, and a practicing Christian [Anglican].
