Administrative Assistant (Logistics)
Kasangaki Richard is a Counseling Psychologist by profession, previously worked with Transcultural Psychosocial Organisation (TPO Uganda) specifically Yumbe Field office in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement in the West Nile Subregion, a former Administrative Assistant of the Australia Alumni Association of Uganda (A3U), and a participated in a number of Research study projects in Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan as a Research Assistant at the Department of History, Archeology and Heritage Studies and the Rotary Peace Center at Makerere University Makerere University. Richard also Co-facilitated at trainings to Lutheran World Federation Staff and Gender Based Violence Survivors in Adjumani Settlements with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma and Interpersonal Group Therapy for Depression as well as served as a Project Assistant of the Australia Alumni Association of Uganda’s (A3-U) Equipping of the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped and the COVID Awareness Campaign Projects in the six divisions of Bweyogerere at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. He is a volunteer at the Rotary Peace Center for field engagements. He is passionate about Mental Health and Psychosocial Wellbeing of refugees and communities.
