Victoria Kirunda Kobel was entered on the roll of advocates in Uganda 17 years ago and is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all courts of judicature subordinate thereto.
Victoria holds an LLM (International Trade, Investment and Business Law) from the University of the Western Cape, a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Centre Kampala and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Makerere University Kampala.
She is an accredited mediator and certified by the Mediation Training Institute and the Judicial Training Institute of Uganda. She has served on management boards of various organisations and corporations. She is skilled in corporate governance, ADR, and legal practice in both public and private law fields. Victoria plays active roles in access to justice initiatives like mediation, plea bargaining, legal aid, and victim’s counsel at the International Crimes Division of the High Court.
