Dr. Dickson Kanakulya
Research and Grants Coordinator
Dickson Kanakulya (PhD) is a lecturer in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Makerere University, Uganda. He is the Research Coordinator at the Makerere Rotary Peace Centre. He holds a PhD in governance and sustainability from Makerere University (Uganda); a Licentiate in Applied Ethics from Linköping university (Sweden); and an MA Philosophy in Bioethics from University of Bergen (Norway) and BA in philosophy and political science from Makerere university (Uganda). He has also been involved in collaborative research projects with several publications and research outputs. In terms of membership he belongs to: the Alternative Perspectives on Global Concerns (APGC) group; the Makerere Rotary Peace Centre; the European Society for Research in Ethics Societas Ethica); and the Uganda Council on Foreign Relations (UCFR)
