My time at Makerere University was a life affirming experience. The genuine hospitality of everyone working at the peace center was incredible and the fellows felt safe and secure at the accommodation as the security guards were so kind and helpful.
The course itself was well thought out and even though we were the first cohort, during a pandemic, the University and the Rotarians worked tremendously hard to make sure that the fellowship was fulfilling and ensured professional development for all.
