Jousue Tambara

Josue Tambara is a stakeholder engagement specialist with focus to addressing youth and women income generation challenges. He worked on the USAID OTI Mozambique Community Resilience Program (locally known as Tuko Pamoja) where he pitched more than 40 project ideas. Worked on the USAID Local Governance Strengthening Program as the Zambezia Provincial Manager. He is a 2015 IVLP and 2009 Cochran Fellow participating in Washington DC and Minnesota respectively

Focus of Social Change Initiative

Josue Tambara’s social change initiative titled Sports for Peace, focused on using sports education to advocate for peace in Pemba City, Mozambique. Through the initiative, he implemented sports activities (Basketball and football) that engaged young people through sports, in Cabo Delgado province.
