Phillipa Odiaka is a licensed medical doctor in Nigeria with a wealth of experience in public health practice, majoring in the national HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis programs in resource-constrained settings. In 2018, She got an award for the Best Position Paper on Gender Equality” following her outstanding deliberation on issues bordering gender inequality in Africa during the Ghana International Model United Nations Diplomatic Convocation for the Committee on the Status of Women.
Focus of Social Change Initiative
Phillipa implemented a Social Change Initiative titled Growing the textile industry in Niger delta region for improved maternal & child wellbeing. Through the initiative, she focused on building the financial independence and improving access to basic services by women and children within the region.
