Joel Oluwatoyin, a Makerere Rotary Peace Fellow, has Founded Oba Women Peace Ambassador (Owpa). She conducted a two-days’ where thirty-two women leaders representing Oba Ile and Oba Oke were trained extensively on mechanism of peacebuilding, under the theme: Women’s Involvement in Peace and Security Process Using Intergenerational Approach. The training introduced the women to the United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325 (2000) as the international instrument which is on women involvement in peace and security.
